The long awaited Makita BMR101 DAB radio has finally arrived and boasts a rich list of features. Being DAB you will have access to hundreds of music, news & sports channels in crystal clear, hiss and crackle free sound. Selecting which station to listen to is a breeze, simply push the main rubberised button and scroll through the stations until the desired station is displayed on the blue LCD backlit display, a simple press of the button will then tune in to the selected station and the same rubberised button is used to adjust the volume. The radio also boasts 5 preset buttons to save your most listened to stations so you can access them with the tap of a button.

The BMR101 is designed for site use and is surrounded by heavy duty rubber bumper, a flexible rubber aerial and front chrome rails finish off the units rugged yet classy look and a retractable rubberised handle is handy when you have got a handful of tools. The unit also has an auxillary in to connect to MP3 payers and ipods and act as an amplifier to listen to your own music.

The unit can be powered from the supplied mains AC adaptor or by most Makita batteries including all cluster batteries (9.6v - 18v0 and all slide batteries (9.6v - 24v) powering the radio up to 9 hours from a single charge.
